A combination of high sensitivity, small size and a fiber-coupled design comprise a highly versatile SERF magnetic field sensor. SERF-2 is designed to be packed into large 100-element arrays for a prototype fMRI brain imaging sensor. The sensors may be integrated into a variety of laboratory systems.
SERF-2 development is funded under a contract from DARPA as part of the HUMS program. Prototype availability projected for Q3 2011.
